Just an update on the
guacamole recipe: yes, you may add cilantro. Mrs. Nator just doesn't because I prefer my guac cilantro-free (I feel cilantro works better in other areas of the meal). So, don't feel hemmed in!
If you try the recipe, let us know how it goes. Did you make a few changes? What did you eat it with? Did you feel the need to run out and buy an authetic pumice mortar and pestle? Nosy minds want to know...

I'm making the chips right now. I used cayenne pepper instead of chili powder. Yummay.
Um, yeah. Now it's Sunday, and I'm making the chips again. They are just so...very. The cayenne pepper...mmmmmm.
Tomorrow I'm buying different tortillas to make them with...spinach, or sundried tomato. Haven't decided yet.
Clearly it doesn't take much to make me happy. This totally made my weekend. Thanks Nators!
Made the chips and guac to accompany lunch today and the chips especially were a revelation. I've been shying away from the fried ones in bags due to self-modification issues and I just can't eat those bagged baked ones (no need to explain why - yuck). This is the perfect compromise. I had to leave out the onions and jalepeno in the guac because the kids would be alarmed by their inclusion but it was still tasty none-the-less. Many thanks!
