I just got a call from Mrs. Nator. The board were abusive and awful to the staff and the Executive Director. They voted to sell the beautiful old building that has been home to the organization for over 160 years for a pittance. She is heartbroken.

Meanwhile, I just heard my new boss get completely reamed by her boss for problems on her major project. I am feeling relieved that I had stopped by her office earlier today to ask how she was doing and remind her I was there to help her on that project at any time, even if the website does keep me busy. Still, you never know what's going to happen around here. I wonder how she's doing and if she, I or anyone else will remain in our jobs for a while.

You people didn't pray hard enough. Tinkerbell is dead.

More happy stuff tomorrow.

May all the Nators have a wonderful weekend and forget about the nasty workaday world.

First thing Monday you go see HR and tell them how traumatised you were by overhearing the abuse being heaped on your boss. It was soooo unprofessional to do that where it could be overheard. You could end up with disability -- which I would prefer over a working knowledge of ActionScript.

Thanks, ya'll. Mrs. Nator came home really drunk last night and then proceeded to foment a revolution among the board this morning. That's my girl.

And my boss had a meeting with me updating me on the wayward project, and telling me that she doesn't want to pass the responsibility for it on to me until all the bugs are hammered out because, she said, "I should be the one having to deal with getting yelled at over this, not you."

I think I'm starting to like my new boss. ;o)

Have a nice weekend y'all...
