Tuesday Twaddle

The Ancestors Are Angry

I forgot to mention my great-aunt Molly’s shaker set in my last post. Go read the update, or she will curse me from the afterworld.

Crankenstein’s Monster

I am in a snit, y’all. I don’t know if I’m just completely fed up with the stress-to-satisfaction ratio of my job, having a bad case of monthly hormones plus seasonal affective disorder or just experiencing my semi-annual anxious/depressive breakdown, but I am so over everything. All I want to do is lie in bed with my cats, read, watch t.v., eat various unhealthy snacks and get the occasional petting from my girlfriend. Oh, okay, sitting in front of a fire drinking mulled cider and carving a fresh-picked pumpkin would be acceptable, too.

At the same time, I feel lonely and unloved, as though I could quit this earthly plane tomorrow and warrant no more than mild head shakes and clucks of the tongue from a few scattered people. Also, have I mentioned that I am in a phase of feeling completely angsty about the “direction of my life”, my “spiritual beliefs” and my “place in the universe”?

To top it all off, I went back to the gym for the first time in weeks, yesterday. The less said about that, the better.

Please send Calgon and caramels. Stat.

Brooklyn Has Everything

…including the struggle between illegal immigrants and the hawks who vie to capture or eliminate them. And I mean actual hawks, because the invaders are parrots. Don’t believe me?

Find out more about these rambunctious and charming residents at brooklynparrots.com. I know I have some photos I took of the Greenwood cemetery flock around somewhere, but this site has mine beat by a mile.

Ah, don't despair.

My life turned around in the course of about two or three days. I'm still flabbergasted. To celebrate, I'm reposting my favorite blog entry.

Da nator , we must be phsycic twins or something , I have got the right hump at the moment , and have been festering under a pile of dogs (as they are the only things that loves me...mutter mutter) , listlessly watching crap tv , and eating anything that contains unatural flavourings , colours , too much salt and sugar.I hate my job , I am totally convinced (for no good reason) that everyone hates me (even probably the dogs , who just feel sorry for me) mutter.. mutter.. twitch.. mutter.
I thinks its time to go back to karate training , giving something a good kicking always make me feel better....I am afterall a beast.
