This is turning out to be a Very Bad Day, indeed.

N.Y. Court Says Lawmakers Should Consider Gay Marriage

I particularly love this line of reasoning:

"Intuition and experience suggest that a child benefits from having before his or her eyes, every day, living models of what both a man and a woman are like," the court said.

What do they think, that gay people keep their children sealed in their rooms with no access to outside people? The Boy In The Bubble meets Paradise Island?

Crap. The only good thing about this is that maybe by the time Albany makes gay marriage legal, Mrs. Nator and I will be able to afford a wedding...

That's really very stupid of them to say! The marriage issue isn't even about children, it's about the rights they afford to couples, why are they even bringing children up in this manner? Children can be adopted by gays and lesbians in New York so why does that even factor into the marriage debate? So ridiculous.

Intuition (that probably means "prejudice" in this context) and experience? Hah! So they are arguing against single parents, and woe betide anyone whose spouse goes and dies on them.
